Who we are
Trull Saplings Preschool is located inside the Trull Church Community Centre which is in the heart of Trull village, aiming to serve the whole community and to bring people together.
Our Preschool is a Committee led charitable organisation, located in the heart of the village of Trull, Taunton. Unlike any other business that most people work in, as the elected committee (which can change every year), are responsible for the overall management and control of the Preschool and are also the charity trustees of the Preschool.
In addition, we also have a Business Manager who manages much of the day to day administrative, finance and HR duties. We have a team of dedicated and qualified staff who are committed to providing high-quality care and education
Working in partnership with parents and carers, we will nurture children’s individual interests within a safe, secure and happy environment.
Our curriculum embraces the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and aims to give children the broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for future progress through school and life.

Opening Times
Monday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Tuesday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Wednesday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm***
Thursday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Friday : 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Note: ***We have two session options per day on all weekdays except Wednesdays.
Half Day (AM) sessions: 9am – 1pm
Full day (AD) sessions 9am – 3pm
The Preschool are in receipt of Early Years Entitlement Funding for 2(two), 3(three) and 4(four year) old's who are eligible to receive Government funding. Please refer to our Early Years Entitlement Funding Policy.
We charge:
From 1st April, 2024, Our hourly fees are:

£7.20 for non Funded 2-year-olds and 2yr-old children claiming over and above the Government funded hours

£6.10 for 3+ year old children claiming over and above the Government funding entitlement allocated hours
